Coal Forest Ink Set

We developed this series of oak gall ink products to offer artists some grit and viscosity. These variants of the traditional black recipe open the palette to a range of hues & opacities, Coal Forest Ink is made in the studio, presented in glass bottles and a brown cardboard mailing box lined with tissue paper.

Your kit contains ink, wash, syrup, pigment and a glass dropper. Complete with step-by-step instructions on how to make it yourself from scratch, when oak gall season returns. Perfect for artists, scientists, or teachers who want students to explore STEAM subjects.
